IZIP TriCruiser Hybrid Electric Tricycle

Here is an interesting product; the IZIP TriCruiser electric tricycle. Not your Grandpa's tricycle --but perhaps it should be-- the IZIP TriCruiser is a modernized, motorized, updated, and eco-friendly version of the ubiquitous adult tricycle.

The IZIP Tricruiser comes equipped with a 450 watt DC Earth magnet motor and a 36-volt rechargeable SLA type battery. A top speed of 15 MPH can be achieved and a radius of 30 to 35 miles is possible before recharging. When pedal power alone isn't enough, there is the easy-to-use "twist-and-go" throttle to get this adult tricycle going. An extra wide seat and a big rear basket make this a handy vehicle to have.

Adult tricycles are most often associated with the mobilty-impaired or with seniors. However the IZIP TriCruiser can also have a very valuable business application as well; being an even quieter and maneuverable alternative to the golf cart.
